Nearly 3,000 men, women, and children headed for the Ritz Theatre on Chol Hamoed looking to fill their afternoon with music and Simcha.
SING Entertainment, known for its stellar record of concerts over the past 4 years, managed to raise the bar yet again with a concert that has attendees still feeling its inspiration a week later.
The show blended some of the artists’ older hits with brand new songs, some of which haven’t even been released yet.
The audience enjoyed fresh duets, guest stars, and brand-new medleys. 8th Day brought back some of their old hits, some which had never before been performed with a full band. Baruch Levine treated attendees to an in-person version of his famed “Kumzitz Alive”, and Benny Friedman brought the crowd to its feet with a brand new song dedicated to the holy soldiers who are dedicated to the downfall of Sonei Yisroel all around the globe.
The concert featured guest star Aryeh Kunstler, music by Blue Melody Group led by Rafi Greidi, and was directed by Chaim Zippel.
The show ended on a high note with a beautiful duet by Benny Friedman and Baruch Levine who performed a cover of the Abie Rotenberg classic “The Man From Vilna” with lyrics written about last year’s attack on Simchas Torah, and the hope Klal Yisroel carries on. The song has since gone viral and made its way into shuls around the world over Simchas Torah.
